About the Park
This beautiful park, located along the winding Mississippi River near downtown Red Wing, is the location for many of our community celebrations. Nearby is the historic Boat House Village where one of the only remaining "gin pole" installations is located. This village has provided limitless inspiration for artists and photographers.
Amenities
Bay Point Park is located on Levee Road, north of Highway 61 along the river. It offers:
- Boat launch
- Picnic areas
- Play structure
- Volleyball court
- Walking path which is open all year long and lit during evening hours. The distance around Bay Point Park is 2/3 of a mile or three laps equals two miles.

Shelters
Bay Point offers two open-air shelters that can be reserved by submitting the online Facility Use Form, or by printing out the Facility Use Request Form (PDF) and mailing it back to the Public Works Department at 229 Tyler Road North in Red Wing or faxing it to 651.388.0243.
