Reserving the Shelter

This shelter is available on a "first come first serve basis" after all paid reservations are honored. Please check the schedule of reservations posted on each shelter. 

Make reservations easy – submit an online Facility Use Request. It also can be reserved by printing out the Facility Use Request Form (PDF) and mailing it back to the Public Works Department at 229 Tyler Road North in Red Wing or faxing it to 651.388.0243. Shelter requests can also be emailed to Leigh Ann Anderson at the Public Works Department. For additional assistance, please contact us at 651.385.3674.

Amenities

Bay Point Shelter 1 is an open-air shelter furnished with:

• 2 charcoal grills are near the shelter for your use
• 4 large picnic tables. Each table is capable of seating 6 to 8 people
• There is no electricity available at this shelter

Location

This shelter is located near the boat launch next to the restroom facilities.

2023 Rates

• $40 for 4 hours or less
• $60 for 4 hours or more
