Red Wing Fire Department Incident Number 190712

On Wednesday, March 6 at 09:57 a.m., the Red Wing Fire Department responded to a report of a Structure Fire in the area of Fourth Street and Minnesota Street in Red Wing. The RWFD arrived on scene at 10:05 a.m. Upon arrival, there was a two-story residential house that had smoke and fire showing from the front porch and attic. The occupants were out of the residence. The Fire Department established command and started to extinguish the fire. A search of the residence was completed and no findings found. The fire was under control within 60 minutes after arrival. The fire was contained to the building of origin. Utilities were shut off. The house was left uninhabitable. There were no injuries reported on scene. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Red Wing Fire Department responded to the scene with three Fire Engines, one Ambulance, one Ladder Truck, two Command Officers, and one auxiliary vehicle. There was a total of 30 firefighters on scene. Red Wing Fire Department was assisted on scene by the Red Wing Police Department, Red Wing Public Works, Goodhue County Dispatch, Excel Energy, Goodhue Fire Department, Ellsworth Ambulance, and Ellsworth Fire Department.
