(May 22, 2023, Red Wing, Minn.) – The City of Red Wing would like to notify the public that beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, Broad Street and Levee Road will be closed for up to 10 days to complete warranty work, concrete roadway repair. Broad Street will be closed at the Canadian Pacific Railway rail crossing, and Levee Road will be closed at Broad Street. There will be no vehicle access to Levee Park with the entrance to Ikata Drive also being closed to traffic. Barricades will be in place.
The roadway is expected to reopen on or before June 8. Please be aware that weather delays and unforeseen conditions may affect the scheduled work.
We appreciate the cooperation and patience of businesses, drivers, and pedestrians during this time of inconvenience. Pedestrians are asked to take special care and avoid the construction work area during this closure. Motorists are encouraged to always stay alert and drive carefully adjacent to any construction work zone. Thank you in advance for your patience!
