(May 11, 2023, Red Wing, Minn.) – The City of Red Wing Public Works Department would like to inform you that utility crews will be on site at the intersection of Woodland Drive and Woodcrest Court beginning at 6 a.m. on Friday, May 12, for the emergency repair of a water main.
Water will be shut off to residents in the affected area beginning at 8 a.m. and is expected to remain off until approximately 2 p.m. or the work has been completed. Affected residents have been notified.
The road is expected to remain open to single lane traffic only. Signs will be in place. Reconstruction of the street will occur during the week of May 15th as weather permits.
We appreciate the cooperation and patience of business owners, residents, drivers, and pedestrians during this time of inconvenience. Motorists are encouraged to stay alert and drive carefully through all work zones. Thank you in advance for your patience!
