(October 4, 2022, Red Wing, Minn.) – The City of Red Wing Public Works Department would like to inform you that Sanderson Street between Third and Fourth streets and the dead-end portion of East Third Street will be closed beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, for the repair of a water main break. There will be no access to Sanderson Street between Third and Fourth streets or the dead-end portion of East Third Street . Property owners in this area will need to have their vehicles moved out of this area before 7 a.m. 

Work is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Wednesday, weather permitting. The road will be reopened when the work has been completed. Surface repairs to the road will be completed as soon as possible. Detours will be in place.

We appreciate the cooperation and patience of residents, drivers, and pedestrians during this time of inconvenience. Motorists are encouraged to stay alert and drive carefully through all work zones. Thank you in advance for your patience!
