Trunk Highway 61 Lane Closure

(November 8, 2018, Red Wing, Minn.) – The City of Red Wing and the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) would like to inform you that the inside lane of Trunk Highway 61 for both directions at the intersection of Carol Lane/North Service Drive is planned to be closed on Friday, November 9.  The closure is necessary to complete the required permanent removal of these accesses onto TH 61 before the installation of the new signal system at the intersection of Spring Creek Ave/Rd.  The closure will remain in effect for approximately one week in order to complete the work.

Anyone interested in receiving periodic e-mail updates for the TH 61 & Spring Creek Improvements project can do so by visiting the project website and clicking on the project email sign up list.

Motorists are encouraged to stay alert and drive carefully through all work zones and use alternate routes whenever possible. Questions may be directed to Jay Owens, City of Red Wing Engineer, at 651-385-3625.  Visit the project website for additional information.
