IMPORTANT CHANGES TO CURBSIDE PICKUP BEGINNING DECEMBER 1

In order to make curbside pickup more convenient for Red Wing Public Library patrons, the following changes are going into effect on December 1:

  1. You will be notified about items on hold the way you were notified before the pandemic.
For most patrons, this means receiving a text message or email. The rest will be called.

  2. You no longer have to schedule an appointment to pick up your items.
     Instead, after being notified that something is on hold, patrons may come to the library at a time of their choosing during the library's open hours (Monday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday 9 a.m to 5 p.m., Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.).

Staff requests that patrons park in front of the library on 3rd Street, but if those spots are full there is parking available in front of the library on East Avenue. Upon arrival, please call 651.359.3660, and library staff will bring your already checked out items to the front passenger side of your car. If the number is busy, please wait a moment and call again as staff are likely helping somebody else.
