The Red Wing Police Department has posted their Body-Worn Camera Policy for public comment on the City and Republican Eagle websites. Citizens are encouraged to comment via email or USPS mail to Chief Pohlman at the Police Department. We will also hold a public comment period in the Red Wing Library Foot Room on December 5, 2019 from 6 — 8 PM. Upon completion of the public comment period on December 6, 2019, results will be gathered and submitted with the Policy for a final public comment time prior to City Council consideration for approval at the December 9, 2019 meeting.
