The Memorial Park Overlook project will replace the existing overlook structure at Soldiers Memorial Park atop Sorin's Bluff. The goals of this project are to:
Provide superior view opportunities from both parked vehicles and from overlook plaza (while standing or sitting)
Design an overlook in line with the existing character of Memorial Park
Update the overlook to meet current safety and accessibility standards
Create separate spaces for vehicles and pedestrians
Create a simple overlook design
Construct a high-quality park facility using durable, low-maintenance materials
