Voting for this election has concluded. The Red Wing City Council will meet to canvass the election results at 7 a.m. on Friday, August 12.

Special Election for Ward 2

For a term expiring January 2025

Candidates: Donald Kliewer and Min MartinOakes

Primary Election for Ward 4 and At Large

Because more than two candidates entered the race for the City Council Ward 4 and At Large seats, Red Wing will hold a primary election on Tuesday, August 9. The primary election narrows the race down to two candidates each for Ward 4 and At Large, who will move forward to the general election ballot on November 8.

Ward 4 Candidates: Vicki Jo Lambert, Stanley Nerhaugen II, and Ted Seifert.

At Large Candidates: Janie M. Farrar, Chad Kono, and Ralph Rauterkus

General Election

Tuesday, November 8, 2022

Following the August 9 special and primary elections, the November 8 general election will elect City Council members for Wards 1 and 2; Ward 3; Ward 4; and At Large. Elected City Council members will serve a four-year term that expires in 2027. Candidates are as follows:

Wards 1 and 2: Ron Goggin and Dean Hove

Ward 3: Becky Norton and Jason J. Snyder

Ward 4: To be determined by August 9 primary election

At Large: To be determined by August 9 primary election
