Crime Stoppers
Crime Stoppers of Minnesota is an anonymous method that citizens can use to report knowledge regarding a crime or information regarding fugitives. The Red Wing Police Department has partnered with Crime Stoppers of Minnesota to provide another method of communication for citizens to report information and remain anonymous. By partnering with Crime Stoppers, the Department is supporting additional ways that citizens can turn in information that may save thousands of dollars of investigators' time and speed the solving of cases.
Anonymous Crime Tips
The Red Wing Police Department encourages residents to contact the police department or their community policing officer. However, some citizens may not feel comfortable or safe reporting information directly. Through Crime Stoppers of Minnesota, citizens can remain anonymous.
Submitting Information
Because of Crime Stoppers' technological presence, the Police Department is in effect increasing its reach for investigative information to be statewide and worldwide.
