2022 Residential Reconstruction (Sturtevant, Pine, and Prairia Streets)

Construction has begun with completion anticipated in late October. The schedule will be updated weekly at the meetings held at 1103 Putnam Avenue (vacant lot at intersection of Putnam Avenue/Pine Sreet) on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. Check this website for weekly updates as well. This project consists of full reconstruction including replacement of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain, sewer and water services, curb and gutter, sidewalk, and bituminous pavement of the following streets:

  • Sturtevant Street (Prairia Street to West Avenue)
  • Pine Street (Putnam Avenue to Sturtevant Street)
  • Prairia Street (Putnam Avenue to Sturtevant Street)

2022 Red Wing Bituminous Mill & Overlay

This project will include a mill and overlay and pedestrian ramp construction in the following areas:

  • Featherstone Court (Featherstone Road to Dead End)
  • Danielson Drive (Hi Park Avenue to Cul-de-sac)
  • Old Zumbrota Street (Guernsey Lane to Beginning of Cul-de-sac)
  • West Fifth Street (Plum Street to Bluff Street)
  • West Sixth Street (Plum Street to Potter Street)
  • West Seventh Street (West Avenue to Plum Street)
  • Bush Street (West Fifth Street to West Seventh Street)
  • Bluff Street (Fourth Street to Seventh Street)
  • Centennial Street (East Fifth Street to East Seventh Street)
  • Green Street Alley

2022 Waste Campus Pavement Reclamation Project

This project includes the reclamation of all the existing bituminous pavement, regrading, and repaving all areas currently paved and adding new pavement in some gravel areas due to poor conditions. Construction is planned to begin in late summer of 2022 and to be completed in the fall of 2022.

Alley Reconstruction

Curb and gutters and bituminous paving are scheduled to begin in summer 2022 on the alley running from West Avenue starting 175 feet south of West Seventh Street intersection to the south approximately 900 feet tying back in to West Avenue.
