Responsibilities
We provide infrastructure management and support services for the city, such as:
- Plat and plan review for all types of city infrastructure and right-of-way
- Long-term and short-term infrastructure project planning
- Surveying and staking
- Design of city infrastructure
- Construction oversight and administration on city infrastructure projects
- Utility permitting
- Management of city right-of-way
- Addressing
- Management of the Municipal State Aid System (MSAS) through the Minnesota Department of Transportation’ State Aid Department
- Maintain the city bridge inventory and safety inspections
- Maintain and implement the ADA Transition Plan
- Maintain and implement the City’s Transportation Plan and/or Comprehensive Plan

- City streets (including pavement surfaces, curb/gutter, and parking)

- Trails
- Watermain
- Sanitary sewer
- Storm sewer
